JENTEZEN FRANKLIN’S LATEST BOOK, “FASTING,” LANDS ON NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLERS LIST
Jentezen Franklin, Senior Pastor of Free Chapel in Gainesville, Georgia, recently announced the addition of his latest book, “Fasting”, to the New York Times Bestsellers list. In the midst of a fasting movement, Pastor Franklin’s goal is to get the word out about the positive effects of fasting through this book.
“I’m believing for God to move in three specific areas – Release, Restoration, and Reward,” said Pastor Franklin. “I’m believing for God to Release those who are being held captive by sin, addictions, depression, and other forms of bondage; Restoration in specific areas such as family, national and international leadership, as well as elections and Supreme Court decisions; and Reward for those who ‘humble themselves, and pray, and seek His face’.”
Known to millions as pastor, teacher, musician, and author, Pastor Franklin is committed to inspiring and uplifting people through worship and relevant applications of God’s Word. In his latest book, readers explore the spiritual, physical and open rewards that fasting offers, and how fasting can become a common practice in our lives. “Fasting,” also helps readers discover the keys to experience transformation, better understand the connection between fasting and prayer, and uncover the essential components of a successful fast, among many other eye-opening revelations. Pastor Franklin reminds believers that the Son of God fasted because He knew there were supernatural things that could not be released any other way.
“Fasting,” available in stores everywhere, is currently ranked number 15 on the New York Times Bestsellers list. Those who read the book, and seek God through fasting can expect tremendous rewards both in their personal lives and the church. Readers have seen breakthroughs in many areas such as healing, finances, bondages broken, and children set free.
